The History of the Templars MC
The Templars MC was founded in the early 2019s by a small group of riders who believed that brotherhood meant more than just riding side by side. They chose the name “Templars” to represent loyalty, honor, and an unbreakable code among members. What began as a handful of motorcycles parked outside a roadside garage eventually grew into one of the most respected clubs in their region.
The Early Years
In the beginning, the Templars were simply a group of friends who shared a passion for long roads, roaring engines, and the freedom that came with both. They rode through small towns, across mountain passes, and along endless highways, building their reputation not through fear, but through unity.
The club established a clear structure early on. There were prospects, full-patch members, a sergeant-at-arms, a vice president, and at the top, the president. Leadership was not given lightly — it had to be earned through loyalty, experience, and respect.
The Rise of President Jock
Jock became president during a turning point in the club’s history. Tall, steady, and known for his calm voice even in tense situations, Jock had been with the Templars since their early days. He was not the loudest man in the room, but when he spoke, everyone listened.
Before becoming president, Jock had served as road captain, organizing long-distance rides that strengthened the bond between members. He believed that the road revealed a man’s true character — how he handled breakdowns, bad weather, and unexpected challenges.
When the previous president stepped down, the club voted unanimously for Jock to take the gavel. Under his leadership, the Templars entered a new era.
Growth and Brotherhood
Jock focused on strengthening the internal culture of the club. He emphasized discipline, respect for the community, and above all, loyalty to one another. Club meetings became more structured, charity rides were organized, and new chapters were formed in neighboring cities.
The Templars began hosting annual rallies that attracted riders from across the country. These events became legendary for their long group rides, live music, and the unmistakable sight of rows of bikes gleaming under the sun.
But Jock always reminded the members:
“Our patch means nothing without the man wearing it. Respect is earned every day.”
Challenges and Unity
Like any long-standing club, the Templars faced internal disagreements and external pressures over the years. There were moments when unity was tested. During difficult times, Jock’s steady leadership proved crucial. He encouraged open discussion within the clubhouse and insisted that conflicts be resolved with respect.
His philosophy was simple: the brotherhood comes first.
The Legacy
Today, the Templars MC stands as a symbol of loyalty, freedom, and lifelong friendship. Many of the original members still ride, though with a little more gray in their beards. New generations continue to join, drawn by the strong values that Jock and the founding members established.
President Jock remains a central figure in the club’s story — not because he sought power, but because he carried responsibility with humility. Under his leadership, the Templars became more than a motorcycle club. They became a family bound by the road, by trust, and by an unspoken promise to always ride together.
